What You Need to Look For in a Blogging Course

It’s easy for someone like me to say you should sign up for my blogging course.

But there is more to it than that.

I think it’s important for you to understand what you want to get out of a blogging course because it’s very easy to fall into the trap of getting a course that simply shows you how to get a blog set up.

So what do you do?

You need to understand what your goals are first.

Blogging Goals

For me, whenever I start a blog the main goal is to make money.

I’m not ashamed to say that.

If I’m going to devote a large amount of time to something that doesn’t involve my family or friends or volunteering, then I want money from it.

That doesn’t mean the blog itself won’t help people because it will. That’s the best way to build an audience.

But I don’t want to neglect that fact that if I am going to continue working on the blog then it needs to make money to keep my interest.

So that is one thing that a blog course should 100% help you do.

I don’t mean teach you the different ways to make money blogging. I mean show you how to make money

What does that involve?

Choosing the Right Niche

It all starts here.

If you choose a bad niche then you’ve already crippled your chances of being successful with a blog.

On the other hand, if you choose the right niche it’s like getting a head start in a race.

Every single blog that I create begins in a niche that I know will work.

There is no guesswork behind what I do.

I do the research and understand what I’m getting into so that I give myself the best odds of making money.

Choosing a Revenue Stream

One of the worst things that you can do is start a blog, work on it for months, and then try to figure out how to make money from it.

You don’t want to do that.

You want to go into this with a Blogging Business Plan.

By no means do you have to create a plan that is so strict you can’t veer away from it, but you need a plan so you can understand the strategy that you’re going to take.

If you’re going to make most of your money with ads then you should understand what niches you should enter and what content you should write.

Which leads me to…

Finding Content

A blog is obviously nothing without content but how do you find the right content for your site?

If you think a good strategy is to simply write whatever you feel then you’re really going to have a hard time with all of this.

However, if you understand how to find the right kind of content for your audience then again, you’ve made your chances of success that much greater.

Attracting an Audience

Finally, you need to know how to attract an audience.

If you can’t attract an audience then it doesn’t matter what else you do, you won’t make any money and remember one of the major goals is to make money.

The Core Concepts

So to sum it up you want a blog course that helps you with the following:

  1. Choosing the right niche
  2. Choosing your revenue stream(s)
  3. Choosing the right content
  4. Attracting an audience

If you know these four things then you’ll find great success on your blog journey.

My blogging course, Blog Revenue Engines, covers all 4 of these topics as it helps you build a blog that generates $1,000-a-month within 6 months.

I’ve helped over 2,000 students create blog businesses and I currently run over 6 blogs myself.

That number used to be much higher but there is only so much time in this world.

My goals is to not only help you with your first blog, but to also lay out a framework that you can easily follow over and over and over again if you wish to create more blogs.

You will not find a more thorough step-by-step course showing you everything that you need to create that life-changing blog that you’ve dreamed about.
